Inline Skating (rollerblades) At Qsncc

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have thinking about buying some inline skates (rollerblades) and I was wondering if anyone knows if inline skating is allowed at the large park next to Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. I know they have a bike lane as well as a jogging lane, but I would hate to buy inline skates and find out they are not permitted at the park.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Not sure, I'll have to ask a friend who is a regular jogger there.

But I believe they are allowed in Lumpini Park, not too far away from Queen Sirikit park.

Siamesekitty,

Thanks for your reply. Please let me know what your friend says as QSNCC is an easy skate from my apartment.

Can anyone else confirm if inline skating is allowed at QSNCC?

For other people who may be interested, can anyone confirm if it is allowed at Lumpini?

Thank you,

Taanruuyang

Last Sunday I walked thru Lumpini and there were kids skating. Seen it before too.

Ok, confirmed. I also just realized that I did see a half-pipe ramp there the other day (so they must allow it, otherwise why build it??) Silly me for forgetting.. :o

Thank you Siamesekitty.

at Lumpini and Suan Rot Fai I think you would be allowed, but as a runner/cyclist it is a total PITA for the rest of the park if you don't have good control.... if you need time to develop skills I suggest going during the day rather than the packed times of early morning and late afternoon.

Expect to have kids darting out.

Lumpini not sure how good the roading system/surface is; there is also the red bull adventure park on Sathorn.
