Not wanting to argue fault but rather ask the question in the event of a death resulting from an accident - two cars Corolla rams up the rear end of a Pickup which had stopped on the side of the road having run out of fuel.

(Unfortunately person putting fuel into the pickup ended up dead).

Now who pays compensation for the deceased?

1. Insurance Company? (number 1 insurance held as Corolla is under HP).

2. Compulsory Road Tax insurance company?

3.The driver of the Corolla?

4. The owner of the Corolla?

There was an article in a recent edition of The Bangkok Post Business Section covering this topic but can't locate it.

Thanks for any info provided.

Edit picture of Corolla & Pickup added.

Does anyone have a copy of the article on 3rd party insurance that was in the business section of the Bangkok Post dated 7 Jan 2008?
