Funny, I have tried being robbed twice in my life, both times they changed their minds. Once in Cambodia and once in Brazil.
I worked as a security in the East Oslo and never had to throw a punch, but had several conflicts every day from knives, bottles and axes as well guns, but never been at gun point except by USA highway patrol once.
Yes I can defend myself, but I would never trow a punch at anyone if I was not feeling I had to, to save my life or my wife life.
Yes.
Nobody likes John Bolton.
But, very few feel the same about John Barleycorn.
Someday, somebody will right a song about Bolton.
Meanwhile, there is always this ballad about the death of John Barleycorn, one who never dies.
JOHN BARLEYCORN MUST DIE.....
No, they are artillery pieces capable of indirect fire. That is, capable of lobbing shells from a concealed position behind a hillock. Or on to a reverse slope. The German howitzers outfought the British field guns at Mons, because they were out of sight, with their fire directed by forward observers reporting by telephone. Although it ought to perhaps be mentioned that the British field guns were highly effective in mowing down swathes of massed German infantry using what was essentially canister-shot.
