Thanks,

Interesting stuff, made a lot less effective by the naive commentary and poor filming.

I think the 2005 insert from iamkohchang is the most disturbing

Its amazing how the local Thai business community does nothing about the rubbish on the street this does effect future tourism to the island we have business on White sand beach and we speak to tourists visiting us and they all complain about this nasty smell and and bacteria infested streets.

But what are the local farang business community doing about it?

But I have noticed that in the past few days the roadside garbage that was featured on White Sand beach has now been tidied up quite a bit.

I have contacted a number of Koh Chang’s larger Thai and foreign business over the past few months. I contacted them mainly because they have developments on Koh Chang and their business are doing very well. I asked them if they could do anything to resolve some of the Islands rubbish issues. I haven’t received one single reply…………….obviously the rubbish and sewage hasn’t deterred any of their customers from buying yet! Until this happens it’s sad to say nothing will be done.
