Im putting in for my wifes settlement application next week. As far as these forums are concerned I am aware that every supporting document has to be an original or at least an attested copy. Along with the attested copy of my passport. I have all original documents so everything is fine as far as this is concerned. However, the agency I am with are saying that I need to sumbmit my folder with all original documents, PLUS an exact duplicate folder containing the photocopies. This is going to be a 2 hour job when I locate a photocopying machine!!!!!! Is this really necessary??? As I would have thought the Embassy would just photocopy anything that they felt necessary? Appreciate peoples views on this....................)

Sounds a little strange. You would think the money you are paying this agency they could at least do the photocopying themselves. I did the same application myself recently and must admit i never photocopied any original documents before sending them to the embassy.
