Hello to all, another query I have, My wife and I are submitting her settlement application this week. If and when she gets called to an interview, is there any importance as to whether Im in the UK or Thailand when this happens? Im assuming this has no bearing factor on the outcome wherever I am???

It does not matter if you are in Thailand or the UK.

If called for an interview, you will not be let inside with your mrs any how.

My wife submitted her application on a monday morning, about 5 weeks ago.

On the wednesday the visa officer called her, and asked her some questions, around 30 mins they were on the phone.

Some of the questions were regarding my age, my job, my D.O.B, my home address, my mothers name etc etc etc.

So just make sure she knows a good deal about you, and your family, but most importantly you.

Just for the record, my wife got her visa the next day.
