Can I expect a 1 year non-B visa for doing business in Thailand? What requirements for getting it. How much needs to be shown in bankbook? Thanks.

Depends where you ask.. Pretty trivial to get in most western countries (considering investment) gets it from some consuls, but harder to get here in Asia where it can require a running business, tax paid, accounts, the WP (with all that entails !!) etc etc etc to get the 1 year multple entry.

Quick answer, no, having a business doesnt get you a visa and WP.

4 Thai staff gets you an extension of stay visa (up to 1 year).

2 million baht of capital in the company gets you a WP.
