My Dog Ate A Sparrow (i Think It Was Alive)

Featured Replies

This morning a couple of sparrows got into our house, I tried to get help them out while our three dogs were going mad.

One got away but another flew to low and our little dog jumped catching it. When I tried to get it from the dog she swallowed it! I think the poor thing was still alive!

She's only a small dog, about 12 kg (you can see her in the pics of our swimming pool). Is it possible she could get sick? Once before she swallowed a mouse and was OK.

Or if she starts to sleep in a nest....

Seriously, if something was to be wrong, you would know by now....

Hope all will be fine

I would give up all hope, the sparrow will no doubt now be dead.

Well, this is the ulitmate of raw feeding your dog. :o

I doubt it will do harm to your dog, though.

Two of my dogs will eat just about anything, but they I think they would draw the line at cockroaches. My wife likes those fried insects they sell on the street, I always stir her about it. I tried feeding one to our dogs and they would touch it. I thought it was funny, but she didn't!
