I am interested in all kinds of magic, but only at very much a beginner level. I have been buying the cheap and simple, gimmick tricks from the stalls for the past three years. I use these at work in North Africa to confuse my colleagues. I have almost exhausted the available tricks from the stall in 4th floor MBK. I have recently been unsuccessfully attempting to master a few card tricks. I just wondered if anyone else has a similar interest or skill, or if anyone can offer any advice.

Also I wondered if there are any magic clubs, groups or associations in Thailand.

Find some of the seminal works in each of the classes.. Stuff like the bobo book for coins, the master at the table for cards, etc etc etc.. Then practice forever !!

The magic stall is on the 4th floor I think, or maybe the third. It is on the same flor as the one that sell the Platstation games. It is at the far end of that floor with many others selling suit cases and wooden bits and pieces. It is not on the floor full of mobile phones and DVDs. It is only a small stall and half the time the guy is not there are you need to ask a nearby stall to call him. The last time I went he wasn't there at all. His stock is limited but it is cheaper that the above web site.

you should ask the thaicowboy on walking street hes doing magic tricks there every night......pretty good but i`ve seen him stuff up a couple of times though....
