Anyone know much about Koh Racha ?? My kid's and I are looking for a nice Island close to Phuket in early April for 5 days to hang out and do some diving/snorkeling. I was told Coral Island might not be the best. Any Ideas?

Koh Racha Yai is located 1 and 1/2 hours by boat south of Phuket. The snorkelling and diving is far better than Coral or as nicknamed by the divers Coraless island.

It only took about 30 minutes from Phuket (Chalong) by speedboat which was provided by the hotel. It's very quiet and relaxing. I didn't snorkel myself but plenty of people were. The hotel also has a great infinity pool.

I believe there is one other more expensive hotel right on the beach.
