What are your favourite all time Singlish statements or quirky experiences with the language?

Ok , to get things started a few of mine

1. “Can, cannot mah?” (translation: “Are you able to ablige or should we reconsider?”)

2. “You lah, play play only!” (translation: “I think you have not fully considered the overall picture, maybe you should look at the issue more seriously!”)

3. I lived in KL for a few years an enjoyed my Milo Ice there, however when I ask for the same in Singapore during my first trip there I was met with a resounding “huh!” I asked again “one Milo Ice”. Reply was “no have lah!” There was a pause, then the hacker madam piped up “Ice Milo have…Milo Ice no got mah!”
