Applying for Aus citizenship for my new baby girl and i need a few things and im not sure how to go about it.

Certified translation of her Thai Birth Certificate into English (valid for use with Aus embassy)

Certified copy of above mentioned translated birth certificate

Certified translation of our Thai Marriage Certificate

Certified copy of above mentioned translated marriage certificate

Certified copies of my wife and my passports

I have been online searching and i cannot find anywhere on phuket that can certify documents that meet the requirments of the Aus Embassy...and there are a few places offering the translation service but i doubt the embassy would accept these..anybody know somewhere on Phuket i can get this all done at once?

I used the office linked above, for a birth certificate translation less than 2 weeks ago. Very professional. 450bt per certificate for a next day service. As for the passports, not sure. I always thought it was an embassy you went to when you needed a passport certified??

Sorry missed that bit. Couldn't say for others, but the one quoted above is definitely certified to the level an embassy require. It gets a stamp to say as much. I would say if you use any translation service on the island they will all be the same. I think basically the embassy simply require it done by a professional, and not your Thai mate down the boozer!! As for passports, to obtain my sons UK passport, both of us had to send our originals and not certified copies. Might be worth a check it's not the same for you.
