Singapore To Bali And Or Jakarta

Featured Replies

Anyone know of a good site to book either Sing-Jakarta or Sing-Bali.  I need to get to Jakarta, but am considering a trip to Bali first if I can find a decent priced ticket to cover Sing-Bali-Jakarta-Sing.  Any particular airlines now that have deals?  I live in Phuket, but figure it's easiest just to look for flights originating from Singapore.

I thought of Royal Brunei Airlines and when I Googled it, I found this site. I only checked Singapore to Denpasar, Bali.

Phuket is a good spot, there are quite a few flights to Singpore.

Thanks, but seems a bit excessive :o

JetStar go to both destinations:

Tiger are best for getting from HKT to SIN

Thanks.  Only thing about Tiger air is that cheap budget terminal.  I thought that both they and jetstar were cutting back or eliminating the hkt-sin route and only leaving airasia or silk air available.  I'll have to check it out.

I found anther good site that consolidates a bunch of airlines under one booking system at zuji.com.  There were cheaper fares on both lufthansa and Qatar air on the sin-cgk route than jetstar, but the jetstar  straight to bali looks good. For about 6000 THB, I casn get RT Sin to CGK taxes included.

Yep JetStar have suspended HKT-SIN route. Tiger have one per day as do Air Asia. Silk Air have several per day but are insanely expensive.

Budget Terminal is great - comfortable, great service and no long queus.

I'll take a look at zuji.com

the cheapest - and probably the quickest - way from HKT would be to fly AirAsia to KL, then the same airline to either Denpasar or Jakarta. between DPS and CGK you can fly AirAsia as well, or otherwise I would recommend Garuda or the completely re-newed Mandala which has a good online-booking-engine nowadays.

Personally I would shy away from Garuda (http://www.airdisaster.com/cgi-bin/airline_detail.cgi?airline=Garuda+Indonesia)

So it looks like the best option is indeed the HKT-KL, KL CGT route as this is 3000 baht cheaper than flying to Sin, then CGT.

However there is only a 1 hour layover between flights on the way to CGT, unless I want to wait there 4 hours.

Does AirAsia check on connecting pasengers so will hold the plane if connectors are arriving late from another Air Asia flight?

Another question, is there a decent hotel inside or near whatever terminal/airport AirAsia uses?
