Secure Storage In Phuket?

Is there a company that offers secure storage facilities? I just want to store some small radio/computer items etc, not anything too large.

Safeway Storage. Their add says: Documents-350BT/month, Cars/boats from 1000bt/month, furniture from 700bt/month, and 20' containers for 2800bt per month. Haven't used them yet so can't recommend them personally, but it would seem they cater to pieces of paper right up to 20' speed boats, so might be what you're looking for.

I've used Safeway. Decent facilities. I even got a refund when I moved my things out early (I prepaid for half a year).

It's next to the excellent Belgian Bakery across from Wat Chalong on Chao Fa West Rd.

I've just contacted Safeway Storage near Wat Chalong.

The person spoke English well and answered all my questions.

A metal container (shipping container style) that is 2.4m x 6m x 2.2m cost 2,800Bht/month. Other storage sizes available from 200Bht - 1,500Bht. But they didn't have any available at this time (Aug 7, 2009).

They have 24-hour security. They also rent portable toilets, portable classrooms and even portable hotel rooms.

I'm going down to see their facility and will likely rent a container. The price is right and things are secure. She said they have no problems with water getting into the containers and no rat problems, either.

before you move your stuff inn, spray with ant/cockroach spray. Then close the door 30 minutes. Dead, if any.
