I got a residency visa (one year renewable) after an aids test/lung X RAY and showning my PNB Philippine National Bank Dollar Account $5,000 at immigration at intermuros.

lopburi is surely confused. No way you require $50,000 I guess he is confused $5,000 = 250,000 peso more than enough for flip immigration.

Wilson Steer -- I checked the site and it definitely said $50,000. Either you got lucky, or there will be a rush to intermuros.

The money depends. if you are married to a filipina, you can get permanent residence just by showing 100k pesos in the bank and paying 10k pesos in fees. I would suggest checking out Living in the Philippines
