Next week (!) Thursday I have to pick up some big boxes at the Thai Air cargo Centre, which have arrived on Friday via Thai Airways from NZ. Is it easy to find?

I hope to rent a pickup truck, but the one promised to me hasn't eventuated yet (Q-cars Jomtien). If needed, can i find a pick up truck for hire with driver at Suvannabhumi??

Hello, how do you arrange Customs Clearance? Do you have all the required import licenses or are these boxes personal effects? If yes, make sure you bring your work permit not older than 180 day or of course the Retirement Visa. If you travel on a diplomatic / official passport these requirements are waived. For Pick ups ex BKK, there are several options, one of them is to ask a freight forwarder around there. Most of them are located in these 4 Buildings in front of the cargo center. A one way trip should be less than 4000 THB per truck. PM me for further info if needed.

PS> just see you want to come on Thursday. First Day Thai Customs is open after a 4 day holiday. There might be a delay due to the heavy loads of cargo which came in over the holidays. You may want to reconsider your pick up day.

Thanks for that. It is personal effects, which arrived on Friday, when i couldn't make it to pick up. I'm south of Pattaya, where Songkan lasts until at least the 19th, I'd like it out of the way a.s.a.p. If i need to wait, so be it. Retirement visa in pasport. I was promisd today I'd have a pick-up rental. We'll see.
