No ideas about the price yet - but as we know ThaiBev they'll fight Heineken aggressively - I'd expect the price of Singha.

That will do me.

Sounds a bit "weasel" to me.

I love CHANG....... yeaaaaaaah

Certainly try it, but if it anything like tasteless Heineken, .......not for me.

Noticed it is made by same company as Chang.

Except that the odd botle tastes as if it has been spruced up with alcohol, ever had one? :o

TOPS sells a nice German Dark Beer = Koestritzer!

as well as Paulaner, german "Champagne" Wheat Beers, Warsteiner...leave Heineken to the "Trendies", they have no own taste, the follow trends and advertising campaigns... :D and prefer to been told when to happy, what do wear, what to eat, what to drink..

Wonderful news. Any ETA on when this is going to be available at local 7-11? I suppose it'd be hoping for too much if I could get some tonight instead of Chang or Singha. :o

off-topic but its still about beer...

PH beer san miguel shares will be offered as Initial Public Offering on may 12. 8.00-11.00 pesos/share

http://business.inquirer.net/money/topstor...IPO-cut-to-147M

please dont take this as an investment advice as i dont know anything about these stuffs too.

just thought it would be great to be a part-owner of san mig so that if your wives will nag you about your drinking, you can always "drinking beer is part of company policy, dear! :o

have a great night all!

Me personally can't get un-hooked of Heineken. Still the nicest and healthiest beer brewed here - you can drink liters - and work the next day as if nothing had happened. Another story after a Singha-night though.

Put a lot of hope into that Federbräu. If ThaiBev launches such a beer, they're poised to make it right.

Got these two cans and big and small bottle standing here - but kind of afraid to open them.

Who knows? Maybe the beer never makes it to mass production. I'd have some collectors items.

If you like it, enjoy it and don't be swayed by tasteless beer phonies. :o

Quite a few pubs now have Beer Lao Dark as well as the regular lager version - at 6.5% ABV, it does it for me! :o

Only 4.7% I see, it would have to be pretty good to tempt me away from Singha / Chang. Sounds very Heineken-ish which doesn't really do it for me.

Can see it having all kinds of different pronunciations by Thai staff serving it also!
