In another thread where somebody asked for a condo under 2 mil, I said that google search would return many sites.

Yesterday went to check out some that looked acceptable, in Bang Na area around Seacon and Bangna Central.

What wrecks they are, no wonder only pictures from nicely done interiors are posted.

One would not quess it's a slum just out the door. Just drove past, did not even bother stopping to have a look inside.

Can't even imagine them still standing in 15 years.

And then, towering over everything in the area, stands this still under works but near completion (September 2008, instead of early 2009.) nice though massive complex - Parkland Srinakarin.

There are units available although on the outer side of the complex. Those within, with views over the pool and park in the middle, are sold out and dozens are already for re-sale by speculators, with a 300-500K baht markup. There could be hundreds more as time for full payment is approaching.

2 BR 66sqm is 2.4 mil baht. A 40sqm studio is 1.34-1.62 mil baht.
