Multi-entry Non-imm O Visa

Featured Replies

I am on yearly visa extensions with a work permit.

I often visit the UK using a re-entry permit to ensure my visa/visa extension are maintained.

If I resign, I think I have 7 days following the cancellation of WP, cancellation of visa extension to leave the country.

Would it be possible to do the following?

1 ) Visit the UK using a re-entry permit to re-enter Thailand on the existing non-imm B visa extension.

2 ) Whilst in the UK, get a non-imm O multi-entry.

3 ) Re-enter Thailand using non-imm B with re-entry permit

4 ) Resign 2 months after re-entry.

5 ) Go to neighbouring country within 7 days.

6 ) Re-enter Thailand on non-imm O multi-entry and get 90 days.

This strategy is for people who are not sure if they will resign or not sure when they will resign. And want to stay in Thailand for a longer period than 30 days after resignation without returning to Europe.

Get the issuing Consulate to hide the new O visa ( a few pages further on in your passport .... you can even tell them why )

Current policy seems to be that end of work is end of stay and you must leave within 24 hours so para 5 needs revision.

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, I did read the 7 days to leave the country had been revised downwards but was not sure.
