Electronic Equipment

Featured Replies

I like to go browsing electronic articles as I am quite a fan of gadgets and all kins of shiny toys, but Bangkok is a bit big and difficult to get a grasp on. Is there anyone who can give some pointers to places that sell electronics like laptops, computer equipment, cameras etc.

Only places I have seen so far are MBK and Pantip.

fortune mall, ratchadaphisek

Actually Pantip is going to have the latest and widest variety if you just want to have a look-see.

I love the vendor demo's and promo's on the first floor, (particularly the Sony girls, could care less what they're hawking), :o:D

Zeer shopping mall, at Rangsit, is a slightly smaller version of Pantip and well worth a look round.

It's just past the old airport so it's a way out from the centre of Bangkok. It's a lot less crowded, so, more comfortable to walk around.

There is also a good market for clothes and food outside.

Seri Center on Srinakarin Road is good too - and a lot easier to navigate than Pantip.

Seacon Square, also on Srinakarin Road has a large IT section too.

Good suggestions, will try these places. Thanks all around.

Fortune city is much smaller than Pantip, but is also less crowded and easier to access by public transport. I would (and recently did) by a laptop there.
