Hi, advice needed please! My Thai wife has recently come to UK on a settlement visa, however in the near future we are thinking of buying a house in TL, whats the best way to go about it? How do we buy, can my wife still borrow money from a Thai bank? her parents say they will 'give' us land to build a house on, but hmm not sure this is best way as they can take house back at any time, because its their land? I know the house must be in my wifes name.

This is not correct. The house can be in your name. It is the land that can't be in your name.
