Public Bus Bangkok-ranong

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I would like to do a run visa to ranong from bangkok. Is there any public bus to go there on a morning? How long it take to travel there. Is there any website to know the schedule?

Thanks a lot!

Most of the buses leave Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai) in the evening around 20:00 and arrive in Ranong in the early morning (like 5:30). It's a 10 hour run. but there is one bus leaving Bangkok at 08:50 as well. The buses are comfortable. Here's the website.

I live in Ranong and travel to Bangkok offered using Chokeanan Tour from the Southern Bus Station gate 62 to 66. They have at least two 32 and one 24 seat buses that leaves in the evening between 8:30 and 9:00 pm. I always take the VIP 24 seat bus. The cost is around 700 baht, the 32 seat bus will be cheaper. There is a government bus that also leaves at 8:00 pm 24 seat but I have no other information on that bus. Chokeanan Tour telephone number is 024357429 or 024355027. The 24 seat bus goes every other day so you need to check with the company to see what days its running odd or even day.
