I have a CD Rom which contains nearly 200 songs in mp3 format. This compilation will play perfectly on my DVD-Player, showing the song titles on the AV selection on my TV and will also play perfectly well using different PC media players on my computers......BUT, I can't get it to play on the mp3 player installed in my car nor the mp3 player in my wife's car, whereas other mp3 compilations will play on both car mp3 players!!!.

I'm bewildered.......does anyone know the reason why?

Thank you.

Is the CD recognised by the player, just no songs listed - maybe invalid filenames (Thai) or a bitrate that the player does not support.

If CD is not recognised, try making a copy of it on a CDR, maybe the player just doesn't like that particular disc.
