For three years I was looking all over the place for vines so I could have vine ripened treats. Even went to the wine vineyards in Loie but couldn't get them. Garyy treied to help me oput and we ma de a run up to his place. By the way guys you ever get a invite don't pass on it, he lives a very beautiful area. Nice people all over the place. Well worth a visit. One these day I want to get a room at his friends resort and explore on the bike.

At the moment there is a vendor that has them at Tu Suu Mung, both the red and white varieties.

60 Baht each I bought eight so 50 Baht each.

You know if you want something here you just got to keep looking it will show up.

It's the area where they have all the festivals in Udon. I don't know where you would be coming from but it crosses Posri Road, turn toward the government office' and the vendor is located about half way down.

Big Honda shop on the corner.

Ray - next time you're in the market for some vines there is a vineyard on the south side of Highway 12 just west of Nong Reua in KK province and the guy will sell vines. Don't bother buying his wine though as it's absolutely awful.

Couldn't agree with you more on GaryA's place and the area. We spent a very relaxing night at his buddy's resort last year.

Thanks Hopefully I'm done bought eight vines and lined my fence area with them. I live in a complex, so I'm out of room if the take off.

Intrestingly enough there is a winery in Bang Chaing. Primarly made from Mangoes, but he does have a garpe wine a well. Doesn't grow his own, buys in mprted grapes. I'm not much of a judge on wine but I liked the tatse. More importantly guy speaks great english and is a wonderful host. So a little wine tasting turns out to be a lot of fun. We were on the bikes and I drink very seldom, I finally had to say no, he just kept bringing out samples, the wife can't drive the big bike :o

Thanks for the kind words guys. You are welcome anytime. It's nice to have visitors once in a while. We have a new watering hole in Nong Hin now. It's right on the south west corner of highway 201 and my road. Big bottle of Archa for 32 baht and good cheap Thai food. I told the guy he has to raise his beer prices a little because I want him to stay in business. He says the Thais can't afford to pay more than 32 baht.
