Normally it's a very simple procedure, but apparently the government has switched to an online system which isn't working, so no CO's are being issued. Rather than having a test run or soft opening, they scrapped the old system and went straight to the online one.

I'm told very few companies have been able to get a CO. Has anybody else had problems or know anything more about the situation?

May you contact the Customs Office at Klong Toey in Bangkok. The should give you the required infos.

Thanks for the reply. We've been in contact with necessary office, but they are unable to create the CO due to a online system failure.

This is something we do often and is normally a very simple procedure. I am told that many companies are in the same position and shipping agents are refusing to send to Europe until the problem is resolved. I would like to know if anyone else is having similar problems or can provide further info.

Is it possible for one of the mods to move this to the business forum?
