How about placing the baht in it's rightful place?? that alone will relieve a lot of issues! TAT doesn't seem to sincere to discuss the multitude of problems facing LOS at the moment. No one with any spine wants to be the first one to raise their hand and point out the obvious. Almost every day, there's a news article regarding the decreased in tourism from blaming the low season, the earthquake, the kidnappings, the scam centers. regional competition and now it's the skirmish with Cambodia as the next fall guy. Deflection is what they do best. As long as they keep burying their collective heads in the sand, they deserved everything coming to them. -

Report Grab Targets Thailand's Expats with New Perks and Features
For me the reason i use grab is obviously cheaper but also when you book with Grab you know they will know where the location is. If i get a taxi from a motorbike taxi rank they haven't got a clue where anywhere is unless it's a few hundred yards from the taxi rank. they're abysmal. Only in Thailand would you have taxi drivers that don't know where anywhere is. Also at least with grab you don't have to stand about for 5 minutes haggling the price. They have brought their own downfall. -

Proof of Life.
he used to work for the civil service, so "speaks the bureaucratese" 😄 i did give all the relevant information, NI No, sent copies of the form. It isn't as if there was a problem with it. I was concerned, given the delay. DWP claimed they had sent the form in January (never received), then stopped pension at the start of May and sent the form which took 6 weeks to arrive, and said if no response by the end of August it would be cancelled entirely. I had had to get a lawyer to sign the "proof of life", no other possible witness 😬 -

Tourism Thailand Faces Drop in Tourist Arrivals Amidst Regional Rivalry
It's horrible what they're doing to Phuket. Give it a few years and there won't be any green spaces and you won't have any nice views. It will look more like the concrete jungle that is Bangkok. The only difference will be Phuket will have beaches. I don't doubt they would concrete over that if they were allowed. -
