Any thing that shows she intends to return to Thailand. No matter how silly it seems.

How about a letter from her employer stating that she has a job to return to.

Letter offering her accommodation in UK. Proof that you or whoever actually own or rent the house. Utility bills etc.

If your wife and her sister write to each other, then submit the letters and envelopes. The visa officer's primary focus will be on establishing that they are close, hence there being a good reason for the visit.

wife doesnt write to her only calls her family as they all live within spitting distance of each other and even then she uses a cheap number to call first. Do you think this would be sufficent. We rent a house would i need a letter from the landlord to say its ok for her to come to show the embassy even though the landlord has said its ok?

Supply any evidence of contact between your wife and her sister. If that solely amounts to evidence of phone contact, then so be it. If possible, also get written confirmation from your landlord that he is content for your sister-in-law to stay. If for any reason the application is refused, your sister-in-law will have a right of appeal.

Scouse.
