Really, whether we are from the UK, USA, Canada, Oz, etc,., it hardly matters how many drachmas per goatskin it costs to buy petrol back home or in Madagascar. Here in Thailand, it costs about double about what it did a couple of years ago, and the end is nowhere in sight. The fact that our home country taxes fuel at 2,987%, and Hugo Chavez nearly gives it away, is beside the point. In Thailand, about all that matters is.....Thailand.

exceptions prove the rule. i didn't realise any price increase in three years. but then i never fill up the cars. my wife does :)
