Anywhere in Chiang Mai that makes/uses Oak Wood in Chiang Mai, is oak wood even readily available in CNX?

Oak is a temperate climate wood. The only oak you will find here will have to be imported.

Wikipedia lists Oak Subgenus Cyclobalanopsis that includes two species found in Thailand.

There are also other species of oak found in Burma, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia and of course China. Some years ago a guy showed me his bar which he said was made in CM with oak from Burma.

I have a copy of a receipt for some "oak" flooring but not sure how to post.
