I am considering the purchase of a property and establishing of the property as a guest house. Do I need to set up a company for this venture so that the company owns both land and business, and does the guest house need to be registered. I did hear that provided there were no more than 10 guests then registration was not needed. Also what are the expected costs involved in company setup for this very small enterprise and does the company have to employ 4 thais, plus usual ongoing costs? Perhaps it can be set up as a sole business in the name of a thai. Any information would be appreciated.
