Hi going to KL for a visa.

Have been in Thailand 3 times already on a 30 day and on last one had a 7 day extension. Got sick and now will be leaving and will need to pay I assume a fine for a weeks overstay. I plan to go to the office to "surrender" and pay before going to the airport, or is there a place to do this at airport?

My 4 yar old daughter goes to school here now so I understand that I can get her an ed visa and me an O based on her. do i have to show 800,000 baht, as I do not have that now.

I have been told that i shoudl go to KL and apply for 60/90 day tourist visas for both of us and then once here apply for an extension of a year. Is this the simplest way or should i apply for her ed visa if i have the paperwork from teh school whilst in KL?

The other thing is tourist visa asks for hotel booking in thailand, I'm renting here. Is that contract ok?

ID card? will a driers licence from Oz be ok? or do they mean somethng else.

You need 500k in Thai bank account for one year extension of stay on basis of child education.

If you have paperwork obtain the ED. Believe you will require a non immigrant O visa issued after child obtains one year extension of stay (her passport copy/extension used as proof along with birth certificate).

We are Australian and are goign to KL. Oops thought I had mentioned it.

The id card and residence permit was listed as a requirement for the KL emabassy for a 60 day Tourist visa.

Really have no idea what to do about the residence permit. I leave monday lunchtime how coudl I get something before then. Would anything else do with a photo and address in Australia.
