Hello

Has anybody got any advice on the best way to get clean water in Isaan

Regards

Dave

I'm not sure about how well these things work. Today I was in Robinsons on Sukhumvit, Bangkok and I noticed with some interest a UV water purifying unit.

Does anyone have any information about these devices. I think it cost 20,000-30,000, there were two models available.

I notice that the bottled water you can buy in Bangkok is often purified with UV light, is this a similar device for using on tap water ?

Any further information would be appreciated.

Homepro have a large selection of water filters suitable for all requirements. Tesco Lotus and Carrefour also have filters at some of the lowest prices. The larger units have multiple stage filtration (sediment filter to remove solids, activated carbon for chemicals and a third system for iron reduction) suitable for more rural areas. Some filters have UV light filtration to remove bacteria.
