Is There A Nice Hotel Resort In Krabi Beach Area

Featured Replies

Hi@all,

in February we would like to see other parts of Thailand and thought Krabi or Kao Lak/Phang Na may be nice. I Have looked at this site here to a few hotels but nothing seemed to be what I am looking for. So what do we like:

-small resort with huts rather then a living complex

-seaside

-restaurant e.g. on the beach in walking distance

-hot shower and private bath, A/C appreciated

-3 to 4 star

If somebody has some feedback and websites I would apprciated that.

Thanks

I dont want to be rude but.... if you can take the time to post this here, surely you could have googled hotel resort krabi or visit trip advisor.com or similar which have tons of reviews of hotels

Thank You Tatler, I have loke don the webite but cannot find to much info about the hotel. I guess it is quite big and very 'lively'? I would prefer something a little bit away from town or holiday centres where it is peaceful.

Is there any other recommendations?

@bkkjames: somebody that can read clearly has an advantage over someone else.

I said that I looked at website etc. so your comment is rude. To be precise, I looked for more then 4 hours.

In Krabi, Ao Nang beach is the beach that has alot of amenities close to it, but no huts/bungalows that I have noticed on the beach, though Centara there has their own beach area. If you want a bit more remote, Railay beach would suit you, here's 2 sites of hotels around there:

Railay Hotels 1

Railay Hotels 2

I also noticed there are bungalows on Koh Poda now, for a really remote feeling, until the day trippers arrive.

Hope something here helps you..

Look no further : Tropical Herbal Spa & Resort.

Only 9 bungalows. Book bungalow 9 it's the most spacious.

Very romantic setting and fantastic gardens.

Stayed there 3 times. Wouldn't book anywhere else in Ao Nang.

cheers

Google Tonsai, Krabi. Basically Tonsai is on the way to Railay, you have to get a longtail boat out of Ao Nang, but it's definitely the bungalow on the beach scenario you are after.

Also consider Koh Jum.

Thanks to everyboday. That will help to investigate. I have to get there from Phuket, so choice is a little bit limited I think

I've stayed here: www.jungle-village.com

Very nice. Great hosts!
