How Self Confident Is Your Thai Partner?

I would like to test out a theory I have, that Thai partners are normally quite self confident to have a farang partner. I have observed that mainly the Thai partner is quite confident and an extrovert.

Not sure if this theory is correct and if it is I don't know how to explain it.

For the Don, an introvert is a bellybutton that sinks below the surface of your stomach (but keeps to itself). The other one is the opposite.

The wife is definately an extrovert now that we are in America. In Thailand, she was not comfortable with the stigma attached to her because of having a Farang BF. She looks the part of a BG - dark, cute, and a snub for a nose. Now that she is fluent in English, it might be easier for her in Thailand, but there will always be those that stare and make snide comments.

Apologies to 'sgtpeppers' but could someone please explain what's with the recent spate of useless, invasive, uninteresting polls that TV members seem to be dreaming up of late?

I thought that Thaivisa was a website where people searching for relevant, useful information pertaining to Thailand could post, and, others would reply if/or not they knew anything that might be of help to the posters question/problem, etc...but recently we've had a string of polls with questions about the habits, makeup, character, and so on of the Thai wives/partners/girlfriends of farang men/women--what's it all for--is anyone interested???

Once again, sorry to 'sgtpeppers' as no offence mean't--but is it just myself who can't see the relevance??

Why do most attractive Thai ladies like old fat ugly foreign men. Do they feel more secure with them. Never see many Thai ladies with anything else. I think Pattaya has the biggest selection of fat ugly men in the whole world.

I dont know about that much about Pattaya having visited only for a few hours once on my way to coral island (and I get the impression that it doesnt particularly reflect the rest of Thailand much), but your generalisation is focusing on physicallities rather than what other (more important) qualities a man may posses that makes a women happy to be with them. The average Thai lady is really quite beautiful, and the general western expat is retirement age unattached male, so it figures that you may see quite a lot of older gentlemen with younger and comparatively more attractive women. Although the cliche that the Thai lady is with the older man because of money does exist in some cases, i think many are with the man because of how he treats her...but well, im babbling so nevermind.
