Good Meditation Center In The Bkk Area

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I want to take a 7 day break and do a little retreat. I'm looking for a good meditation center around Bangkok that is quiet and offers a decent place to stay. I would love to have a single room because besides doing meditation I just want to be alone for some time and if possible enjoy the nature a bit so a nice garden or outdoor area would be great too. I do not need intensive instructions but some workshops or something similar for a few hours a day would be good.

I would prefer if it is around Bangkok (1-2 hours driving distance) but if its a bit further away I'm fine as well if its worth it. Would be great to hear some suggestions.

Hi, I stayed 1,5 years ago at Wat Sanghatan, you can contact Khun Puky via email

She is very nice and helpful and speaks English too.

Now they have also rooms for rent, newly built:
