Modded 360 But Not Region Free.

Just had my 360 chipped in chinatown. Got some new games at the same time, came home fired it up & <deleted>@k me only 2 of the 6 games work. The other games give the error message, wrong region.

So I have to find some way of telling if the games are Pal or region free before I buy them!

Soul Calibur IV & Guitar Hero 3 both work though

Most of the (original) games sold here are NTSC-J and it's printed as such on the front of the box...you might have to hit up eBay for original games, copies should work just fine.

Alas, Xbox live is also a problem for out in LOS, both speedwise and for games that are pirated / for chipped Xboxs.

Just a quick update. It would seem that the games I have problems with are EA games, all the rest are fine
