I have Vista, use Firefox 3.1 and use ACDSee 2 Pro, All genuine..

If I receive an email with more then 2 pictures I have a problem, the 1st 2 will save as JPeg the next will only save as 'Firefox email' so = no picture..

I have tried sending myself from my laptop to my PC 4 JPeg, but only 2 will save as JPeg..

Please can anyone help

Do you get a valid image if you change the file extension to the correct type (jpg)?

Yes I get a perfect image, also the image says Jpeg....... change the file extension ?? when I click save...... it says save as 'Firefox mail' on the drop down menu the only other option is 'All Files' but saving as All Files still saves a blank image..

should be no problem. The major difference between the JPEG and JPG is the usage of the platforms(Operating Systems).

JPEG is the extension given by the Macintosh and JPG is the extension used in Windows

Appears odd that I can save the 1st 2 pictures and they save as the image Jpeg/Bmap/PNP, it is always the pictures after the second..

If I use the 'download image' then it saves in 'win zip' or 'win rar' and I must go to the download attachment file and extract = all pictures saved as Jpeg/Bmap/PNP are fine

It is not a big problem, just takes more time, just much easier to right click and use 'save as'

Maybe a issue re Vista and ACDSee 2.0 Pro ?
