Are the bars closed in BKK during the election.

If yes, for how long? Only on Sunday?

Just arrived in Bkk 15 minutes ago. The bar opp my hotel (Soi 8)is serving drinks openly. A guy in there said they started derving at 4 although the law says midnight. Who am I to complain??

Yes. welcome to Saudi Arabia pull up a camel and sit yourself down.

The bars were are closed all weekend in my area of Bangkok continuing until midnight tonight.

hotel bars normally are able to serve - least thats from my experience last few elections in BKK.
