Perhaps English isn't your best language, although your comment is written well enough, your reading comprehension appears to be severely lacking, if you indeed read the article at all. The very beginning of the article refutes your claims in spades. "Crackdowns" of this sort are for protection and they specified what exactly they want to protect! "Pattaya authorities detained several illegal immigrant beggars on Thursday to protect the city’s world-class tourism image. At 6:00 PM on September 26th, Chonburi Immigration, Pattaya City officials, and the Chonburi Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office, jointly launched a crackdown on illegal immigrants begging in Pattaya. The authorities said the beggars were causing damage to the image of the city, which is a world-class tourist destination." Of course there are some very nice places within Pattaya city limits, but with the amount of filth (in many ways) there, I understand why my (Thai) friends, who own properties there, have moved away from the city they lived in for many years. It has become much less than desirable. With soooooo many nicer places to visit, I have no idea why tourists want to go there, other than the ones who enjoy that sort of sleazy environment. -

You just inspired me, as you did on Articles 18 & 19 where you still haven't admitted your wrong.....LOL, not that I have ever expected you to understand the meaning of the word, YOUR WRONG. So, I will take it upon myself to email an insurance company in Australia and ask them the question, something on the lines of..... I am a non resident of Australia, however am an Australian Citizen residing in Thailand for over a decade and am looking to obtain private health cover in Australia. My question is, whilst I do not reside in Australia, can I obtain private health cover for within Australia, even though I am living in Thailand. My residency status for tax purposes, is that of a Non Resident as I live in Thailand, and as I reside in Thailand for over a 180 days a year, I am considered a resident of Thailand for tax purposes. Once I get a reply, I will post it, wrong or right, the latter would shut you down real quick wouldn't it ? I doubt it, because then you would bring something up, like, they are overhauling the system, making changes, like the DTA's....bla bla bla -

Getting a credit card
It's quite easy for a foreigner to get credit cards in Thailand. There are 3 scenarios: 1. You don't have a work permit and you don't have money in the bank : no credit card. 2. You don't have a work permit but you get some money in the bank : you can apply for a "secured credit card". 3. You have a work permit : you can apply for a credit card Years ago, I was in the scenario # 2 and I got a secured credit card. When I decided to be based in Thailand (with a TH work permit), I applied for a credit card and got it! PS: When I was based, as a foreigner, in Czech Republic, Ireland, Kenya, UK, the rules were quite similar: you have a job then you can apply for and get a credit card -

You can tell doctor what you sre taking that you get at the pharmacy. Then on your revord. Insulin is a different matter from the BP meds. You can get the BP meds at mist pharmacied and cost diffetence will be very small. These are inexpensive meds. -
