My wife has emailed me to say the above notebook is available in COMWORLD for just 6900 baht ??

Can anyone confirm this as seems rather low ?

Anyone purchased one recently from elsewhere ??

Thanks Chivas

Hi :o

Might be a "flash promotion" offer.... like last time my BF called me from Tesco Lotus telling me "they have just put up a sign, 26 inch LCD TV Samsung "buy one, get one free" for 20K", i told him to go to the stationery department, grab a ruler and measure how tall the screen is, by the time (2 minutes) he was back they were sold out - they had only three sets!

And i myself have witnessed such a "flash promotion" in MBK where they suddenly sold one particular mobile phone for 199 Baht (!) - 10 sets available, which were sold in less than two minutes, too.

Best regards.....

Thanh

I think this is what your wife is talking about.

There was also an article in Database today. Limit of 100 units at that price or if you buy a regular notebook Acer have a promotion where you get one for free.

The Tesco promotion was on last weekend, 19.990 baht, buy one get free on Samsung 26" lcd tvs. Had about 20 cartons when I saw them but nobody was buying and I passed the display a few times, but sugar at 9 baht a bag... could hardly get into the store as the pallet was parked next to the entrance and there were a hundred people gathered round.
