The BBC's website seems to be unobtainable today.

Does anyone know the reason for this?

Due to technical problems, we are displaying a simplified version of the BBC homepage.

Works fine for me..........

I havent been able to get on the sports pages or listen to the online radio like I normally do everyday today, must be down.

Could it be something to do with the 500 million baht firewall? They are still prosecuting Jonathan Head for lese-majeste aren't they?

I have True, just refreshed

They do seem to be having problems even here in the UK most of the market and currency data pages are unobtainable:

Error 320 (net::ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE): Unknown error.

I get the above with Google Chrome but IE works okay.

(BTW Google's spell-checker doesn't have Google in it by default )

OK, it's back now and the radio works too.

Yes, working now.

It's a long day without the iPlayer.
