Ethanol For A Buck A Gallon...9 Baht/litre

Featured Replies

Hi folks, It must be good if GM is buying into it. The Coskata company has a new process to extract ethanol that is far superior to existing techniques. If your interested in bio-fuels have a look for yourself. www.coskata.com/

Hi Jam0419, can't help you with that. You should check the local farmers market...where it may be sold as grain alcohol.

Yes, Ive read about this in Motor Trend or Car and Driver. They basically have a bacteria that feeds on syngas from boiled plastic and rubber and ect. and that bacteria sweats ethanol. This bacteria is also unable to survive in oxygen so its rather safe. And yes, final product is almost pure ethanol and cheap.

Ill try to search the article and post it here.

regards, Bartek.
