Anybody know the best place to buy hammocks in BKK? I want to buy around 100 or so and they must be comfortable and big enough for a farang to use. Is there somebody selling them that will give me a good price?

Saw them today on Sukhumvit road near Soi 3/1. The guy only had 5, but within 30 minutes he will rustle up 95 more I bet. Do not know the price, but you know the rule on price..haggle, haggle, walk away, come back and haggle again. They were multi-colored string types.

Does anybody know what type of hammocks are for sale. The reason why i ask is because i bought one off my wifes family who makes them out of bamboo.

100 baht or $ ? If you find them for 100 baht, let me know too where. Last time I bought some hammocks from Thailand I paid much more. Now I'm embarrassed to say how much I paid for them.

Oh wait. Just reread your post. I guess you meant you want to buy 100 hammocks. If that's the case, I would go to the source where they make them. Its not in Bangkok, that's for sure.

Correct I want to buy 100 hammocks. I think I found them in Laos for around $1.50 each. Thanks for the replies.
