We were in transit from the UK to Dubai when the airport was closed.

We are now stuck in Dubai. Have been here since 26th....

Emirates have arranged for us to fly out to Kuala Lampur on Monday 1st Dec.

In the meantime , it's costing us a fortune to stay here in Dubai , an expense we hadn't bargained on.

Although Emirates have charged us nothing to re-route us , they are not covering our extra expenses...

our insurance deems this an act of War and will not help either..

thank god for credit cards !

We still intend to come to Thailand , and enjoy the beach whilst winter hits Europe...But , we have lost faith

and we are amazed that the situation has been allowed to escalate as it has.

Hopefully we'll have our feet in the sand and a Tom Yum soon.
