I would think air traffic control would have something to say if their power was cut, plenty of other planes flying across thai airspace they need to track.

Perhaps "the powers that be" are on their side.

I guarantee that if foriegners tried to overtake the airport, we woud be locked down in minutes. Important to remember that they are there only because they were allowed to set up camp.

PS. I think Air Traffic Control towers have standard backup power, systems, etc. They're meant to run seperate from the building.
