Just after 2am on Thursday, Police were called to the car park of the Tepprasit Road Government-run condominium block in Jomtien to investigate the aftermath of a shooting incident at the location.

Officers arrived and inspected a Bronze Toyota Corona and a Silver Toyota Camry which had sustained damage during the gunfight.

The incident began when a group of Police volunteers approached a well known motorbike gang in Soi Kow Tha Low. The gang fled in the direction of the Tepprasit Road and attempted to escape, however they became cornered at the car park of the condominium. One of the gang members produced a gun and started to shoot at the volunteers.

The two parked cars were hit during the shooting. The owners of the two vehicles could not be located and the gang members were also able to escape.

The case is currently under further investigation
