About to insure my car with Allianz C P . Is anyone else with them or has anyone had any grief with them ?

Allianz are on out ‘Approved List’ so you should have no problem – or if you do call your Broker in to help.

However we would suggest you contact your Thai Visa Broker for an alternative quote as they may be able offer better benefits/lower premiums?

I've used Allianz car insurance during the last 5 years without any problems. We had a small accident with my previous car that required changing one of the rear fenders. It was done very quickly without any fuss.

O.K. thanks for the replies. I didn't want to take out insurance with a company that doesn't pay out , like the guy on the other thread who had his 800,000 baht car stolen but had a hassle with his claim. :o

As with all Thai insurance, check what percentage you are covered for. It is criminal that mos policies are jut for 80% of the value. Where else in the world can you drive a car off the forecourt and lose 20% if someone nicks it 10 minutes later ?

Always get the percentage upped to 90% +
