Since this the carrier I work for I thought I should update for those flying with us.

- Etihad will continue to operate a relief flight from U-Tapao Airport to Abu Dhabi Airport until Thursday 4 December 2008.

- The relief flight EY408 departs Abu Dhabi airport at 1400 local time (1000 GMT, 1700 Thailand time) to arrive at U-Tapao airport in Thailand at 0100 local time (2200 Abu Dhabi time,1800 GMT). The return flight EY401 departs U-Tapao airport at 0500 local time (0200 Abu Dhabi time, 2200 GMT) and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 0900 local time (1200 Thailand time, 0500 GMT).

- From Friday December 5 to Sunday December 7, Etihad will operate thrice daily from Suvarnabhumi airport (Bangkok) to Abu Dhabi. It will not be possible to buy tickets that involve a Bangkok to Abu Dhabi sector until December 8 at the earliest.

- For guests who originated their outbound journeys from an airport not served by Etihad. When returning from Bangkok to any offline point Guests can only connect through an airport which is both served directly by Etihad and a designated partner carrier flying to their final destination.

- Guests who choose to make their own way from Bangkok, but not to their original departure point, do so at their own expense and will have to claim additional costs through an appropriate insurance policy

Travelling to Bangkok:

- Flights into Suvarnabhumi airport (Bangkok) will resume on the evening of Thursday 4 December, arriving into Bangkok on Friday 5 December.

- Etihad will operate its normal double daily services (EY402/408) into Bangkok with the addition of a third flight. Tickets can be purchased on all of these flights subject to availability.

Changes to the flight schedule will be updated on this page or through Etihad Airways' call centre (UAE) 800 2277 or your local Etihad Airways office.
