Paid deposit for flight, a month ago, tried to call company tonight to pay balance, office closed.

Looked on companies internet site to see if i could pay there, Saw same flight exact details £50 cheaper.

Should the company charge me the internet listed price or not?

I understand the price of the flight could have gone down since i booked but i have not actually paid the full amount and tickets have not been issued. What do you think????

Depends where you are and what the companys policy is.

Tell them what you have seen and ask them to reduce the price. THe may or may not do it.

But, if I remember right, you have agreed to pay X and they can make you pay it or you can cancel. It doesnt matter that they are now offering the same thing for price Y.

:-) If your deposit is less than the difference in ticket price you may save a couple of bucks by cancelling

But airlines change prices on a more than hourly basis. You have a contract secured by the deposit and it states XX dollars for XX trip. There is no harm in asking for the new price but don't expect it.

Called them back next morning and told me that i must have been looking at the wrong flight ( i wasnt)

And now that offer was no longer available. The guy said someone their end must have noticed the mistake and removed the offer from the web. Strange this considering at night when i first called offices were closed, and i called back as soon as the offices were open. More like they were losing out on commision and removed it from the site after i pointed it all out and wanted my flight cheaper. :o
