So if you have two separate jobs involving two different companies on one work permit is it possible to get an extension of non b visa based purely on one of the companies staff ratios etc or must both conform?

cheers

I am guessing here but should only need to be one. The one which you are paying your tax through and has the staff ratios

Wouldnt have thought both companies would need to comply to get the extension, interesting question

both companies will be shown on the work permit

OK...which one are you paying your income tax through, or are you paying through both as well ?

I am in this situation and the 1st company that originally had the work permit issued is the one they go by for visa renewal. In my case the 2nd company is / was automatically renewed based upon qualification and registration

BUT your taxes must be in order 100% I stress 100% you must have the reciepts to show you have paid all and any outstanding taxes.

I forget the name of the document but it is numbered 91

The work permit was gotten using the first employer. The second employer is an add on, but requires the same paperwork.

That would lead me to believe that both might require the same extension paperwork.

I suppose if you really wanted to know, you could ask the Labor Office that issued the WP.

I've always found them helpful.

When a foreigner is employed by two different companies it is possible for him to have two work permits, ie one for each employer, in the same work permit book. This can be done if the first employer agrees to have the permit for the second employer added in the same book.

That is correct! I had to provide a letter from employer (1) that there was no objection for me to work for employer (2)
